Shapeshift X Mattina Workshops: Bud Vases!

Our September Shapeshift session at Mattina is here, and it's a good one. 

Come welcome the changing of the seasons with open arms and cutie bud vases. This one-day workshop will guide you in making your very own little bud vase to hold all the autumnal flowers of your dreams. We will be working with a warm-toned, off-white stoneware and a wide variety of underglaze to choose from (painting your piece is optional, but available to you 💖).

Absolutely noooo experience is necessary and all materials are included—just show up ready to play <3

I will guide you through the basics, share tools + tips, and then set you freeee to explore and create.

Following the workshop, I will fire+glaze your pieces and they will be available for pick-up at Mattina once they're shiny, sturdy, and ready to be loved (typically ~4-6 week turnaround). 

Small bites will be provided + more food and drinks will be available for purchase. 

We also have an exciting optional add-on this time around: Come pick-up your piece on Sunday November 8 and build your own bouquet to fill your vase while enjoying a coffee from Mattina. (The additional $15 includes your flowers and a coffee, or drink, of your choice)

*Ceramics is a slow, hands-on process, and each piece goes through multiple stages of drying, glazing, and firing. While I promise to take great care of your creations, the nature of clay means that cracking or breakage can sometimes occur along the way and during firing.

At this time, I'm unable to offer refunds for pieces that don’t make it through the kiln. However, if this happens, I am happy to offer 15% off a future workshop or purchase.
